Session 1: Week of July 20
I Am Being Peaceful

Being Peaceful is all about choices kids make and their own personal self-awareness. Children remember what it means to be peaceful. We learn what it means to be a "Peacemaker" by solving our problems peacefully using S.T.A.R. and the Circle of Peace. Campers will create their own Peaceable Being that will last for years and participate in other projects that help reinforce all the skills learned at camp.

Session 2: Week of July 27
Putting Peace in Motion

Putting Peace in Motion is all about putting skills learned into action. Peace begins with you and me, so lets get others involved! This session helps children develop problem solving strategies, communication skills, cooperation and team work as they develop a stronger sense of their inner beings by practicing with others.

Session 3: Week of Aug 3
Play for Peace

Being Peaceful is fun! Children spend the week creating skits and mini plays. They practice peacemaking skills during various role-plays and involment in cooperative games. Campers also learn about other cultures and games kids play for fun around the world. They will also be looking into how they effect the environment and how the environment effects them!
